From Oz to Around the World
Thank You for attending PTCs
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our parents for attending Parent-Teacher Conferences! Your partnership and collaboration with teachers play an essential role in supporting each child’s growth and success.
Theater Preview
Our students also had a special treat this week as they previewed the High School theater production, The Wizard of Oz! The excitement and awe on their faces were priceless as they experienced the creativity and talent of our older students. If you haven’t had a chance to see the show yet, tickets are still available this Saturday, so don’t miss this magical performance!

Kindergarten Fun
In Kindergarten, students continued their Culture Unit by rotating between classrooms to “travel” and explore different parts of the world! They learned about Kenya, China, Australia, and France, engaging in hands-on activities, stories, and crafts that celebrated the beauty of diversity and global understanding.

Parent Tip of the Week
Focusing focus on the virtue of the month, Peace, research on early childhood peace education shows that children benefit from learning values like empathy, cooperation, and conflict-resolution at a young age.
Here’s how you can bring peace into your daily routines:
-
During transitions (like after play or before tasks), ask: “How can we work together peacefully here?”
-
Model calm reactions: when disagreements arise, show your child how to slow down, listen, and choose a respectful response.
These simple, consistent actions help build your child’s capacity for kindness, understanding, and peaceful interaction.
