Cozy Moments and Joyful Connections
PJ Day
What a wonderful day of comfort and connection across our school community! Pajama Day brought smiles and laughter as students, teachers, and even parents joined in the fun staying cozy in their favorite PJs. Classrooms were filled with read-alouds, meaningful conversations, and moments that reminded us how joyful learning can be when we slow down and share together.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this day so memorable.
Staying Healthy with the Changing Weather
As the weather shifts between warm and cool days, we want to help our little ones stay healthy and comfortable! Please remember to:
1. Send a light jacket or sweater that your child can easily put on and take off.
2. Keep them hydrated — changing temperatures can sometimes cause dehydration.
3. Encourage balanced meals and plenty of rest to keep their immune systems strong.
4. If your child isn’t feeling well, please allow them to rest at home so they can recover fully and protect others from getting sick.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our children healthy and happy during this seasonal change!
Parent Tip of the Week
Joy grows when we play together. Play is the language of joy! When families play, laugh, or create together, they release “feel-good” chemicals like oxytocin that strengthen connection and belonging. Research from the National Institute for Play shows that shared playtime supports emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving for both children and adults. Joy doesn’t come from perfection; it comes from presence. Whether you’re building a fort, dancing in the kitchen, or inventing a silly family game, it’s the togetherness that matters most. Setting aside time for play invites lightness, creativity, and connection into everyday life.
At-Home Idea:
Choose one evening each week for a “no-screens” hour to play a board game, cook together, or share stories. Let laughter lead the way!
